How Do You Copy/Paste From this Forum?

Back in the good old days, I could simply run my mouse over the valuable code snippets that seasoned DXL scripters have posted. Now when I attempt to do this, although I can select the text and seemingly "copy" it, when I go to paste it - all I get is a blank.

For a simple example of what I'm referring to, see the code snippet posted in this forum at

...select the code and try to copy/paste it into any text-reading application (Notebook, Crimson Editor, your favorite scripting tool, etc). Am I the only one having this problem? I actually have to go to my browsers "View" menu and choose "Source" in order to get the entire page worth of formatting and markup, then try to find the code snippet embedded there and copy/paste it. Is there a better way?

I have the same issue using IE 9.

Copy and Pasting seems to work with Chrome 34.0.1847.137

Those are the only two browsers available where I work.

With IE8 everything seems to be fine... What you can try to do is try to fire up the IE Developer Tools (F12) and then meddle with the Browser-Mode and Document-Mode settings to see if that changes anything. Maybe it helps, Mathias

Acutally I go th the Browser-Menue - File -> Save as - and save the html file on my pc. Then I open the html file by using a text editor and copy it directly from the html code.

Thank you all!! All of your suggestions were helpful. I use both IE Version 11 (with install new versions automatically enabled) and that appears to be the "problem" browser for this issue. I also use Firefox version 30.0 (same option enabled) and tried the same experiment - and found that I could copy/paste with that browser.

I don't know why that didn't occur to me sooner!!

Selecting the text and CUT instead of COPY works for me sometimes.
